Visiting with Great Grandma

Great Grandma M is in town staying with Aunt Mary while she recoups from surgery.
We stopped by for late trick-or-treating.

Fun toys!

See a penny, pick it up...try to find your mouth.

Aunt Mary looks like she's doing well.

J attack!

Missing pictures?

Is Google having some trouble loading pictures or did they just decide not to show any of mine after not posting for 2 months? Hmm.

It's been a while. Here are some current pictures.

Some of Mow playing dressup and others of Mow and J trying on their Halloween costumes.

Pioneer Day

As reported by my Mother, we saw the end of the parade and went to Tracy Aviary. In route, we stopped at the swings. This, of course, was Mow's favorite part of the outing. J wasn't quite sure what to think of it though.

Don't call DCFS

The day we returned from the camping trip, we went to the neighbor's house for a barbecue (venison and elk; if I remember correctly, he got the elk with a bow and arrow). Food, fun, croquet...and then the swing set attacked Mow.

For some reason I think she looks much a little older than she really is in these pictures. Happily, the scar and bruise have now healed.

Camping

We went on a campout on July 18. My brother-in-law came over specifically to help make sure that we had all of the pieces of our tent and then forgot to repack one of the poles. With some help, we were able to sleep in it anyway.

After retrieving our CNG car from the mechanic (a day late), we drove it from American Fork to Scofield and back (135 miles) on a single tank of Natural Gas ($4.18). Unfortunately, shortly thereafter it returned again to the mechanic for yet another expensive repair.

Mow enjoyed exploring.

I'm not sure what the kids really thought of the trip though. Both ended up in our sleeping bag (it was cold), so Pseudonym and I didn't get a whole lot of sleep, but that wasn't much of a surpise.

I played with my camera and chased a butterfly.

A note for Miss Summerson

My new glasses are already scratched so I took Mow to the Moran to see about the warranty while J had an appointment at PCMC. Mow was playing with the toys but got very quiet and still and I can't remember the particulars (smell maybe?), but I figured out that she'd pooped her pants. So, she and I waddled to the Men's restroom (well, I walked and she waddled after). I got her into a stall prepared to do some cleaning, but there was nothing in her underwear. Then, I noticed some streaks along the inside of her pant legs and on the edge of a shoe...
I got her cleaned up and walked back out into the hallway and there in the middle of the carpet was a large...um...clump?
Um, I think there is a point of all of this. Mow pooped on the floor in the middle of the Moran. I thought you might enjoy the story but I now feel kind of dumb about writing it.
