Sorry we missed February

Seth is busy with work.  Amanda is busy with school and the orchard.  Somehow amid all of that we try to keep the house in order and the kids fed, clothed, bathed, and entertained.  Mow is enjoying preschool and is getting good at reading (she has to choose to do it on her own though...don't ask for a performance).  J is a bit stir crazy (its too cold to play outside), still not house broken, and a mischief maker if left to his own devices (we may be buying a $125 library book in the near future).  BB is crawling, sitting, and pulling himself up on things as he tries to catch up to his siblings.

Our most interesting news is that we get to reinforce the foundation of our house with steel piers.  The Northwest corner of our house is sinking.  Over the last year, cracks have appeared between the cinder blocks on the North wall.  An engineer came out and determined that the Northwest corner of the house is 2 1/8 inch lower than the Southeast corner.  Next month we'll have 9 piers installed on/under the North wall and the North end of the West wall will get 2 more.  What fun!  If you have nothing better to do, read about the piers:
