Afternoon in the Orchard

The boys picked strawberries while I worked on a project in the Orchard today. I am putting together a display/poster/thing on tree identification for the Orchard and was out photographing the leaves of different types of trees. My leaf photographs aren't that great but the strawberries were.

M's 1st Grade Hero Project

M has been working this past week on a project for school for an everyday heros unit in her class. She selected teachers as her hero and chose to "sew a picture" for her presentation. We made a pattern from a picture M took of her teacher. M selected the colors and did the sewing all herself.
